Pain when Swallowing

Description:

Pain when swallowing, also known as odynophagia, is usually caused by infections or inflammations in the throat. It can also occur as a result of acid reflux, irritation from food or drink, or injury to the esophagus. The pain may range from mild discomfort to severe, sharp pain.

Causes:
