Back Pain

Description:

Back pain is a common condition that can range from mild discomfort to severe pain, affecting the upper, middle, or lower back. It may result from muscle strain, structural issues, or underlying medical conditions. The pain can be acute (short-term) or chronic (lasting more than three months).

Causes:

• Muscle or ligament strain due to heavy lifting or awkward movements.
• Herniated or bulging spinal discs.
• Arthritis, leading to narrowing of the spinal canal.
• Osteoporosis causing spinal fractures.
• Scoliosis or abnormal curvature of the spine.
• Infections, tumors, or systemic diseases affecting the spine.

If back pain persists, worsens, or is accompanied by numbness, weakness, or loss of bladder control, medical evaluation is necessary to diagnose and treat the underlying cause.
